As rightly pointed out move e branding is the easiest way of advertising. Every new product is associated with a movie to have a better hold in the market. There are lot of examples in todays scenario. Centre fresh chewing gum, Fair and lovely – shivaji. Sunfeast – Sivakasi, Menz Active – Aarya, Fairever – Ghajini, Boost – Azhlagiya Tamilmagan. Indirectly making a mark into the customers mind through movies is today’s trend.

Movies are definitely the current buzz in branding today. There's another interesting aspect gaining momentum presently. Advertising through virtual games and 3-D digital worlds has been creating waves recently. All you Play Station, Wii and Nintendo gamers out there will know what I'm talking about. Have you noticed the brand of cars you drive in your races or the brand of cosmetics used in those girly make-over games? A solid example of advertising through games is Secondlife, an online virtual 3-D world created with gamers as citizens using many real life brands and you can find branded stores in this digital world such as sony, adidas, etc. As gamers usually comprise the younger population, brands being advertised are the youthful yippie ones. sangeetha is right advertising through gaming is catching up fast..Advt through movies especially in India hasn't seriously kicked off i guess..but i guess it is a wonderful medium.
