LORD OF MUSIC - A.R.RAHMAN
The world loves to emote with music, and my favourite pastime is listening to music . I am one of those who travelled from audio cassettes to Cd's to MP3 players and then downloading music and now into ipod's.

AR Rahman has always won many hearts.. I have had the privilege of meeting him at the launch of "Pray for me brother"... the man has such a soothing aura, much like his music....
A tribute to AR Rahman, greater than the Golden Globe or the Oscars would be, us music lovers buying his music and not downloading it from free sites...
At the cost of sounding very Idealistic...I am hoping that I shall soon overcome the habit of downloading free pirated music.. so I thought I should start with a good habit by watching Slumdog only in the Cinema Hall or whenever the official DVD is out... and buy the genuine music CD....
I hope my temptation does not overcome my resolve to give the due credit to all those associated with the movie...
A R Rahman a terrific entertainer and he is the one who has taken the SHOWS to a grand scale, last year we had one at sears center@ CHICAGO, US. It was truly amazing.He is a techno musical genius.
Hardik, Very well said. But it is easier said than practiced. A very good thought and concern, today white collar crimes are crimes people do it with out knowing what they are doing. You have given me an idea..to chew upon, i will blog about it very soon. Your comments are very impressive, keep doing it.
Music is truly life enriching and AR rehman stands as an epitome to this, but coming to the music of slum dog millionaire, i have to say that its not one of his best work.he has done much better, so i dont really agree with you on that note sir, nevertheless INDIA is certainly proud that AR rahman stands to represent what indians r capable of.

Music/ Movies/ Software are very powerful tools but ultimately they are invisible... it is because of this invisibility we don't consider it as bad a thing as pirated drugs that is putting lives of millions in our country in jeopardy... or even as bad as walking into a store and lifting your favorite Pink Floyd CD and escaping without paying for it! The more I write on this issue the stronger I feel about the crime we have been committing...

Hi,your predictions have turned right both with obama and Ar Rahman. I applaud your audacity to spell out what you predict weeks before the outcome. Both Obama and ARR deserves the place, they are simple and straight forward. ARR is a musical factory i guess ,his Delhi6 seems to be a big hit i guess. Your blog on my hero is awesome.I guess your next blog should be on the attack on Srilankan cricketers.
